Whale tail in the water

Whale Watching at Cape Kiwanda

Each spring, more than 20,000 gray whales pass by the Oregon Coast on their annual migration north from Baja Mexico to Alaska. With your binoculars, you can see them from Pacific City Beach or atop Cape Kiwanda Dune. Oregon State Parks hosts whale watching week during prime spring migration in March.
