Our History

For more than 50 years, the original Cape Kiwanda RV Park (CKRV) welcomed generations of RV travelers to Pacific City. With its 10 acres just across the street from the beach, Haystack Rock and Cape Kiwanda, families returned year after year, making it one of the Oregon Coast’s most beloved campgrounds.

In 2017, just next door, Hart’s Camp opened as a four-acre property with a fresh vision called “Offbeat Luxury Lodging” which focused on well-appointed Airstreams with a playful, nostalgic and design-forward style.

In 2022, the owners of CKRV sold their park to the owners of Hart’s Camp, creating an opportunity to unite these two neighboring destinations. By April 2025, they merged into a single 14-acre property under one name: Hart’s Camp. Together, the combined grounds now offer 147 RV, van and tent sites alongside 7 Airstreams, 11 cottages and 17 cabins.

In 2024, management was entrusted to Noble House Hotels & Resorts, bringing elevated hospitality, thoughtful service and the spirit of a boutique brand to this coastal campground.

Looking Ahead

Hart’s Camp, A Noble House Experience, is redefining outdoor hospitality on the Oregon Coast. Rooted in decades of RV traditions, we’re building on what guests love most—welcoming repeat RV travelers with more sought-after 45’ pull-through sites and adding new cottages designed for families and friends. With that, along with our Airstreams, cabins and tent sites, Hart’s Camp continues to grow as a coastal basecamp where travelers return year after year.
